Kind hearts are everywhere
In my heart this morning: Some of the best people I’ve ever known are wealthy. But they don’t flaunt and often give anonymously. Some of the best people I’ve ever known are middle-class. They are generous with their time, open their homes and hearts, and donate more than anyone might think possible. Some of the best people I’ve ever known are poor. There’s my friend who I watched offer her last little box of cereal to a homeless man, then search her backpack for whatever else she could give. With love, she offered advice on where he could get some sleep, no judgment. Kind hearts are everywhere. We just need to open our eyes and see. And be.
